The Monkey thorn is an African tree, also known as Senegalia burkei.
They have a flakey bark which brings a realistic contrast between the tree and the foliage. 
Caring instructions:
• Placement- The tree needs a warm, sunny & airy spot ( keep in mind, the tree must be protected from hot afternoon sun in summer) 
•Watering- Be sure to keep the rootball moist, however be careful not to over water the tree. 
•Pruning- The Monkey react very well to pruning and easily grows a dense foliaged canopy. Begin by removing all the dead branches from the tree. Once that is done, take a close look at your tree and decide which branches need to be removed to create your desired design.
