The Spekboom is a proudly South African plant, and has been deemed as a miracle plant by many. 
It may seem like a ordinary plant but it is very special.
The spekboom can live up to 200 years which makes it a perfect Bonsai. It helps to fight climate change and air pollution, it acts like a carbon sponge improving the quality of the air that we breathe.
Caring instructions:
•Placement- indirect light is best for growing these trees as bonsais especially if kept indoors, Few hours of morning sun would be the perfect spot.
•Watering- In spring and summer the succulent plant likes to be watered well using water at room temperature, then allowed to almost dry out before its next drink. Over winter, if temperatures is cool enough, the spekboom will have a rest period which will be signalled by slower growth. At this point, reduce the water frequency until signs of active growth resume. 
•Pruning- It is very easy to prune your spekboom Bonsai when the stem gets to long for your desired design. For this reason , it makes the perfect beginner Bonsai.
